Clay Center

Clay Center Community Middle School was named as a "Finalist" for the KAMSA Middle School of the Year.  Clay Center Community Middle School Principal is Keith Hoffman (second from the left).  Clay Center is the only middle school to have participated in this award process since it began in 2011.   Also pictured holding the banner are KAMSA President Elect Joe Samples (far left), KAMSA Executive Director John Sanborn (second from the right) and KAMSA Vice President Vickie Kline (far right).

Basehor-Linwood

Basehor-Linwood Middle School was named as a "Finalist" for the KAMSA Middle School of the Year.  Basehor-Linwood Middle School Principal is Amy Garver (center), the Assistant Principal Garold Baker (far left) and several members of the teaching are pictured with the Banner.

El Dorado Middle School  was named as a "Finalist" for the KAMSA Middle School of the Year.  El Dorado Middle School Principal is Karla King (second from the left). Three members of the teaching  staff are also pictured holding the Banner.

Arrowhead Middle School of Kansas City was named as a "Finalist" for the KAMSA Middle School of the Year.  Arrowhead Middle School Principal is Laurie Boyd (third from the right), the Superintendent of the Kansas City School District Dr. Cynthia Lane (far left) and several members of the teaching and administrative staff are pictured with the Banner.

The KAMSA Conference featured national presenter was Dedra Stafford from Oklahoma.  She filled the morning program for the conference.

Luncheon

The KAMSA Conference Awards Luncheon at Washburn Rural Middle School was filled with approximately 100 people.

The closing moments of the Awards Luncheon were filled by Executive Director John Sanborn and KAMSA Past President Steve Woolf.
